Well, this certainly is a nice sounding album. The death metal vocals felt a tad bit forced and out of place at times, and maybe I could criticize it for sounding a tad clean, but other than that, this is nice. And that’s really the problem with this album. It’s just nice sounding, nothing more to it. It doesn’t have the depth you’d expect a progressive album to have (or perhaps not expect considering the state of progressive music today), and when it does try to sound deep it fails. But like I said, it sounds really nice, and if that’s all you’re looking for, there’s no reason not to listen to this album.
